Too many bugs to smile!
The arctic barrenlands are home to a billion blackflies and monster lake trout. Arctic trout stay shallow through the short summer; this bruiser was caught in 6 feet of water by trolling a pink Husky Daredevle in the Dubawnt River, Nunavut. A wicked battle ensued in strong current with light tackle, and the lunker swam away after a quick pose. |
