Slippery Winds Wilderness Lodge, Northwestern Ontario, Canada

Trophy Smallmouth from Yoke Lake

Trophy Smallmouth from Yoke Lake

Slippery Winds is a remote, yet accessible,American-plan , fly-in fishing lodge located on Yoke Lake, 38 miles north of Fort Frances, Ontario.

Slippery Winds offers its guests the opportunity for catch-and-release angling for six species of sportfish (walleye, largemouth & smallmouth bass, northern pike, muskie and lake trout) on six different lakes.

With a maximum guest capacity of only 18 guests there is very littel fishing pressure on the lakes and the camp has a laid-back, friendly atmosphere.

Guests are acommodated in five, fully-modern, lake front guest cabins. The main lodge is rustic, yet comfortable with a guest dining room and lounge featuring satellite television and a high-speed internet connection.

The lodge's season runs from the third Saturday in May until the third week of September.

For more information please contact the lodge at 1-888-244-7453, check out the web site at www.slipperywinds.com or e-mail to info@gwnlodges.com
