Sambaa K'e Fishing Lodge (Trout Lake, Northwest Territories)
Sambaa K'e has been a traditional site for at least 2000 years because of the size and quality of the fish available here.
Sambaa K'e (Trout Lake), with a population of 120, is located between lush forest consisting of fir and birch trees to the west and the tranquil water of Trout Lake to the east. Sport anglers and nature-lovers alike will marvel at the breath taking scenery and world class walleye, Trout and Pike fishing.
The Sambaa K'e Lodge is nestled in a grove of trees with a beachfront view and is a short boat ride from the community. Your home while you visit will be one of the five picturesque cozy log cabins, heated with wood stove. There is also a central lodge with a kitchen, dining and lounge.
Basic and full service packages available. The packages include transportation to and from the community airport to the lodge. Also, all meals (including shore lunches), fully equipped sleeping cabins, boats, guides and gasoline. There is also a fully equipped Guest House in the community that can accommodate up to 12 persons.
Sambaa K'e Lodge (Trout Lake, Northwest Territories) is accessible from Alberta, Fort Nelson, BC, Fort Simpson or Hay River, NT during the summer months by air charter.
