Thanks for checking out our tasty salmon burger recipe. This is a simple recipe and is a nice change from beef or chicken. We eat salmon burgers with the same sides as we would a beef or chicken burger. A garden salad, baked potato and a side of Texas style baked beans go well with this recipe.

This is quick to make and one that is likely to become a hit with your kids. Give it a try.

Ingredients

  • 2 8 Ounce Salmon Fillets
  • 4 Whole Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Egg (Beaten)
  • 2 Fresh Scallions (Chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Yaki Soy Sauce
  • 1 Cup White or Yellow Flour
  • 1 Slice Fresh Ginger
  • Salt and Pepper (Taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons Plain Unseasoned Breadcrumbs
Method of Preparation

This salmon burger recipe can be made in little less than 15 minutes.

Rinse the boneless salmon fillets under ice-cold running water and then pat dry with paper towels. Cut the salmon into fine pieces. Dice the previously boiled potatoes and set aside for a moment. Grab a large bowl and put the scallions in it along with the salmon, potatoes, egg, salt and pepper, soy sauce, breadcrumbs and ginger and mix well.

With only your hands start to shape and mold the cool-feeling mixture and try to make medium-size balls with only the palms of your hands. Flatten them form them into burgers. Place on a well heated and oiled grill. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side.

Serve.
