We eat salmon burgers with the same sides as we would a beef or chicken burger. A garden salad, baked potato and a side of Texas style baked beans go well with this recipe. This salmon burger recipe can be made in little less than 15 minutes. Rinse the boneless salmon fillets under ice-cold running water and then pat dry with paper towels. Cut the salmon into fine pieces. Dice the previously boiled potatoes and set aside for a moment. Grab a large bowl and put the scallions in it along with the salmon, potatoes, egg, salt and pepper, soy sauce, breadcrumbs and ginger and mix well. With only your hands start to shape and mold the cool-feeling mixture and try to make medium-size balls with only the palms of your hands. Flatten them form them into burgers. Place on a well heated and oiled grill. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side. Serve.
