Easy Recipes for Salmon

This is one of our favorite recipes for salmon. The nice thing about this fish recipe is the salmon can be easily substituted with lake trout or rainbow trout. No matter which fish you end up using, this salmon recipe is easy to make and very tasty!

INGREDIENTS

  • • 2 pounds salmon fillets
  • • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • • 2 red cooking apples, sliced
  • • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • • 1/3 cup Kraft Herb salad dressing
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a non-stick ovenproof skillet. Heat the skillet at a medium temperature. Add the fish and cook for 3 minutes turning once. Remove from heat. Place onions on top of the salmon and surround with the apple. Mix the syrup and dressing and pour over the fish.

Bake for 20 minutes or until salmon easily flakes with a fork. Remove fish from oven and transfer to a serving dish. Pour over remaining syrup and apple mixture and serve.
