Herbed Rainbow Trout
4 Rainbow Trout Fillets
2 Tablespoons Honey Mustard
1/4 c. chopped, mixed herbs (parsley, chives, mint, rosemary and basil)
Lemon wedge
Oil the plank and trout skin. Place the trout skin side down on
the plank. Mix the herbs and mustard in a bowl. Brush the mixture
over salmon. Grill until salmon is barely opaque in the center and flakes easily with a fork. Serve with a lemon wedge.

Planked Lake Trout
4 Lake Trout steaks (2 – 3 pounds)
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp pepper
Salt
Sliced lemon
Season the plank. Preheat the plank to 350 F. Put the fish on the plank. Combine the oil, mustard, pepper and salt to taste. Brush the mixture on the trout. Cook for 17 to 19 minutes depending on size of fillets. It should flake when done. Serve with lemon wedge.
Grilled Lake Trout
1 or 2 large lake trout fillet
1 tbsp of sea salt
Bay leaf
Fresh ground pepper corn
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried rosemary
Olive oil
1 Tbsp honey
Mix all the ingredients but the oil and honey in a bowl. Brush the trout with the olive oil and sprinkle the fish with the ground herbs. Drizzle the honey on top of the fish. Place on the plank and cook on a hot BBQ. Fish is done when it is flaky. Very good. Serve with lemon wedge.
Cedar Planked Rainbow
Rainbow trout fillet or steak
¼ cup light miso
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 minced clove of garlic
Lemon wedges
For several hours soak the plank. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Glaze the rainbow with the mixture. Heat grill on high. Put the plank on the grill and blacken it. As the plank begins to crack and snap (you’ll hear it) turn the heat down. Place the miso glazed trout skin down on the plank. Close the lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fillet is flaky. Serve with lemon wedge.

Blackened Walleye
3 - 2 pound walleye fillets
1/2 lb. Butter
Cayenne Pepper
Fresh ground Pepper
Garlic Powder
Salt to taste
Lemon juice
Dip the fish into melted. Put the walleye fillets on the grill. Season them with the salt, garlic, black pepper and cayenne. Cook for 5 minutes. After 5 open the BBQ and loosen the fillets from the grill. Do not turn the fillets. Baste the fillets with butter and re-season if necessary. Cook for 5 more minutes. They will be ready when the meat can be flaked with a fork. One of the finest grilled fish recipes for walleye!
Grilled Walleye
Chopped Red Onion
Garlic Powder
Fresh lemons
Ground pepper
Salt to taste
Paprika
Butter (not margarine)
Make a foil boat and place the walleye in it. Season to taste. Slice the lemon and put them on the fillets. Add about a 1/4 inch pad of butter every 3-4 inches. Garnish with the red onions. Grill on medium for 8-10 minutes. Turn the fillets and cook for another 5 minutes. They will be done when the fish flakes. One of the best grilled fish recipes we have tried.
Grilled Northern Pike Recipe
Northern pike fillets (from a 5 pound fish)
Butter
Lemon Pepper
Make sure the
Y bones are removed
. Grease tinfoil with butter. Baste the fillet with lemon pepper and liquid butter. Cook on low to medium heat. This is one of the easiest grilled fish recipes around, and it is very good. Serve with lemon wedges.
