This is a great fish sauce for people who love heat with their food. It is normally used on precooked fish but can also be used on fish that you will broil. This makes it quick and versatile, perfect when you want to add a little home-made food to a busy midweek meal. If you are someone who does not want quite as much heat, you can back off a little on some of the ingredients which make it very easy to personalize it to the tastes of you and your family.
Ingredients:
Add prepared mustard and stir to prevent from becoming lumpy. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and chili sauce. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice after ensuring that there are no seeds or excess pulp mixed in with the juice. If you are not sure how hot the sauce will be, taste test sauce before adding in the hot pepper sauce. If the sauce is already hot enough, you can omit the hot sauce. If you want to add more hot sauce, do so one drop at a time and taste it before adding any additional hot sauce. This sauce can be poured over precooked fish fillets or sticks. It can also be spooned over raw fish before broiling in order to give it a lot of heat and flavor. This recipe makes approximately 1 cup of sauce.
