Canada Fishing Vacations – What to Bring

Planning Canada fishing vacations is a lot of fun. Whether you are going fly-fishing in BC, Walleye fishing in Saskatchewan, or Muskie fishing in Ontario, you have a lot of different options. Just make sure you are prepared for anything.

A Canadian fishing trip in the spring is the most popular out of all the seasons. The fish are most active this time of year and can be caught at will sometimes. In northern Canada, May and June can be beautiful from a weather point of view. In fact, it can get down right hot!

Keep in mind though; the weather can change on you in the spring. Canadian fishing vacations can take a turn for the worse if you are not prepared. This includes everything from rain, wind and (gulp) even snow!

Radical shifts in weather can happen while on a Canadian fishing trip. So here is, unofficially, things you need to consider while on a fishing vacation! (Not included are obvious things – like a boat!).
