This is one of our favorite BBQ salmon recipes, and a terrific way to kick of the spring. The sauce provides a terrific contrast to the taste of the salmon and goes well with nearly any side dish.

We typically make this recipe over propane heat, but if you have an old fashioned grill and use Brickets, it adds a terrific flavor to the fish. This recipe goes well with baked potato, tossed salad and Texas Style beans!

It’s also easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh Salmon Fillets
  • 3/4 Cup Bullseye Original Barbeque Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Small Chopped Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
  • ¼ Cup Red Cooking Wine
Method of Preparation

Preheat your barbeque over medium and grease the grill.

Mix well the BBQ sauce, wine, sea salt, onion and brown sugar. Place the salmon on the grill and cook each side for about 2 minutes, turning only once. Brush on the barbecue sauce mixture all over the sizzling salmon fillets. Turn the salmon again carefully and brush the other side.

Cook for 3 to 5 more minutes or until you can flake the salmon with a fork.
